Presentation TV Patron Policies
Purpose:The Presentation TV is primarily intended to be used for class sessions and by small groups for presentation preparation and practice.
Equipment: 48” LED TV with HDMI hookup
Location: Room 124 & Lower Level - Irene Clerico Maker Space (Rooms 007 & 014)
Users: Students, faculty, staff, and community members
Cost: There is currently no charge for this service.
Avaliablity: Presentation TV is available for use from the time the library opens until one hour before the library closes.
Usage Policies and Restrictions:
- Use will be on a first come first served basis unless reserved for a class. The TV cannot be used by other patrons when a class is in session.
- See the Lower Level Service Desk on the lower level if you need assistance with the TV.
- Usage time is limited to two hour increments when it is not reserved for a class during that time period.
- No movies or movie clips will be allowed unless they are embedded in an academic presentation. (See usage tips below.)
- Keep sound to a minimum.
- When the TV has not been reserved for a class, priority will be given to Olivet Nazarene University students for academic projects.
- The presentation TV must not be moved.
- Please keep content/data on the screen “Olivet appropriate.”
- Benner Library Staff reserves the right to restrict or end usage of the TV at any time.
- The user of this equipment is responsible for adhering to copyright laws and regulations.
Usage tips:
- Feel free to check out an iPad AV adapters for lightning (new iPads) and 30pin (older iPads) at the Lower Level Service Desk.
- The Presentation TV is not intended for viewing movies. If you need to view a movie for academic purposes , see the Lower Level Service Desk for assistance.
